Keep It Simple: I’m a classic over thinker sometimes. I get a hold of a new idea and I want to look at it from every angle, see every flaw, note every advantage…then try to sell it. I am always training on how to simplify my view of my products and services. You could be the same. Stick to the basics when you’re taking your product or service to market. Don’t make it complicated. Stick to the simple points of your product or service then let them ask questions. Don’t know what to say? See how your sponsor does it.

Prospect: I know, I know. You hate prospecting. It’s not MY favorite thing. The problem is, if you neglect prospecting, how will you grow? You should be prospecting daily. You may utilize technology to help you with your prospecting, but don’t forget that many highly successful network marketing companies were built off of people having one-on-one conversations. Do both. You can use all the internet tool in the world, but remember to still utilize traditional techniques to contact your warm market. These actions still do contribute to network marketing success.

Have a Great Product: I’ve said this before and I’ll say it forever and ever. Network marketing success hinges on having a product or service that you truly believe in. It doesn’t matter whether it’s vitamins or car engines. You need to believe deep in your gut that this one product is amazing. A great product or service should also be tested to ensure its “Greatness.” Avoid selling a bum product to your warm contacts. You don’t want a bunch of unhappy customers. Your product or service should be something you are proud to show your friends, family and colleagues.

Service Cost: It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of a growing company. I think a HUGE key to network marketing success is having a product that is competitively priced. I’m not saying it has to be rock bottom, but people should have some incentive to buy from you instead of from a local department store. Right? Do some research before you join a new network marketing company and compare their pricing to normal retail outlets.
