The Google Switch – Can The Google Switch Report Live Up To The Hype?

The Google Switch is a free report that was created by internet marketing gurus Jim Yaghi and David Schwind. This report was created as a result of the recent “Google Slap” epidemic that has plagued many business owners and has virtually dismantled entire businesses altogether.

When I was first introduced to the Google Switch, needless to say I was a little bit sceptical about some of the income and lead claims that were being pitched around. Jim and David claimed to generate upwards of over 20,000 leads per month for their business which to me seemed extremely unrealistic.

However despite my scepticism, I decided to download the free report and see what was contained inside. To say I was completely blown away would be an understatement…I was floored.

The Google Switch is by far one of the most comprehensive reports I have read in a long time and gives away numerous traffic strategies for free. Jim and David go into extensive detail about how to “flip the Google Switch” to multiply the amount of exposure and leads you get for your business which can virtually be done overnight.

This report covers the following strategies in extensive detail:

Article Marketing, press releases, facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube, SEO (search engine optimization), and blogging.

My advice to everyone is that if you are serious about taking your business to the next level, I would get your hands on this report immediately and devour the content as soon as you possibly can. Your business will thank you greatly for it.

Open Source Software You Can’t Live Without

Open Source programs may be developed, improved and maintained by a community of programmers, but its programs can be useful to computer users of all levels. There are thousands of Open Source programs you can use to do just about anything on your computer. Here are a handful that you might find indispensable.

Create a blog. WordPress is an Open Source application that can be used to design and publish a blog. If you have any programming skill, you can create an entire website, including static and blog pages, using WordPress.

Go online. There are several Open Source web browsers available for Mac and PC, including Mozilla Firefox and Camino. Mozilla Firefox is considered by many to be one of the top browsers in the world.

Use your computer. There are many Open Source operating systems available, but Linux is one of the most widely known. It’s supported by many proprietary computing companies including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, IBM, and Novell.

Write documents. OpenDocument, NeoOffice, AbiWord, and Bean are all Open Source word processing programs.

Run Windows software on a Mac. The Q Emulator program will allow Mac users to run Windows software on their computers. The program can be slow for some models, however.

This list only scratches the surface of how computer users at all levels can use Open Source programs. Open Source programming makes effective, well-designed software open and available to everyone who wants to use it, share it, or improve upon it.

Simply put, spam comments suck! Akismet was developed by the creator of WordPress to combat this growing issue. Akismet is remarkably good at distinguishing between real comments and spam comments. Although it is included with every download of WordPress, you do need to activate it. Before you activate it, you need to obtain a WordPress.com API Key.

2) Google Sitemaps Generator

In order to receive traffic from Google, you need to ensure that your blog is fully indexed. The easiest way to accomplish this is by submitting a sitemap through Google Web master Tools. This plugin allows you to fully customize and generate a sitemap for your blog.

3) Sociable

Web 2.0 is all about social networking and bookmarking, especially for blogs. Sociable allows you to display unobtrusive social bookmarking icons under each of your posts. These icons make it easy for your visitors to give your posts a nice viral push. The plugin allows you to customize exactly which icons you want to display (anywhere from one to twenty-five).

4) Related Entries

Increase your page views with the Related Entries plugin. This plugin uses the keywords of each post and places a box with five related posts at the bottom of every post.

5) Another WordPress Meta Plugin

Although Meta tags are not the most important element of SEO by any means, they are still an important factor. This is especially true with WordPress blogs, because without them you can run into duplicate content issues and be banished to Google’s Supplemental Results. This plugin makes it simple to add Meta tags to your home page, posts and categories.

6) AdSense Deluxe

If you plan on using Google AdSense on your blog, AdSense Deluxe is the easiest way to automatically insert ads into your posts. AdSense Deluxe also supports YPN ads!
