Search Engine Marketing – Pay Per Click
When you conduct a search on any of the common search engines, you will notice “Sponsored Links.” These are ads that are setup on a Pay Per Click basis. You chose the keywords or phrases you want used and then you chose a price your willing to pay if someone clicks on the link.
The price you are willing pay determines your overall placement in the list of links if your keyword or phrase has been searched. Even if your ad is not getting the click-throughs, it’s still showing up and people will be seeing your name. If they search the keyword phrase often enough, they’ll start to recognize your name and may eventually go direct or search your business by name when they are ready to move on it.
This is a relatively easy market to get into. The results can be instantaneous (ad impressions, not clicks), but this doesn’t lead to long-term SEO ranking. With the cost of postage and printing continuing to rise, this is a very “green” way to reach out to new customers. Combine online ads with email or enewsletter marketing strategies by converting a small portion of your print budget into online marketing.
There still remains those that prefer to pick up the paper or to receive a postcard or printed mailer, however, the percentage is dropping rapidly and more and more people go to the net first for product or business information. Don’t be left out of that market!
I bill a mere 10% of the monthly budget alloted for your PPC campaign ($100 minimum budget). I will create and monitor an ad campaign to ensure that your impressions and clicks are valid and not wasting your money. I provide detailed reports on a weekly basis.
